Some of the worlds best came together over this weekend, to race for cash, glory and a ranking for the rest of the 2019 season. With the top 40 times on qualifying day split by less than a second and a half, it was clear we were in for some tight racing. Home town hero, Mitch Thompson, came out on top to claim the first world cup win for an Australian.

On the way to Newtons World Cup, held at the famous mount panorama raceway in Bathurst, we stopped our drive on the side of the road in Dorrigo. Going to sleep, then waking up to crushing waterfalls was quite the experience, only subtracted from by the countless trucks who’s lights penetrate the quiet night (and tent walls)
